At World's End is the final episode of Season Two of Greek.

Synopsis []

The episode opens with Jordan, Rusty, Calvin, and Dale in Art History class. The professor is discussing the end of the world, while the four are discussing various personal affairs. While Rusty and Jordan talk about their potential relationship name, Dale complains about the class and Calvin continues his issues with Grant being his roommate. Dale is also continuing to be tempted by Sheila, his landlord.

On Casey's end, she and Ashleigh are sitting in Dobler's, and while Ashleigh is attempting to talk to Casey about the upcoming Panhellenic meeting, Casey is being distracted by Cappie, telling herself that it's because Max is gone and when he comes back it'll all go back to normal. Ashleigh brings up her concerns again about Max giving up Caltech for Casey, when suddenly he comes through the door of the bar. She and him reunite happily, and Casey doesn't seem to have any hesitations about being back with him in real life.

Ashleigh and Cappie turn up to the PHC and IFC meeting and Ashleigh discovers that the meeting was not about the fall formal theme, but rather about ZBZ and Kappa Tau's involvement in sabotaging the Iota Kappa's homecoming float. While Cappie gets off easy with a two week social suspension, Ashleigh is threatened with severe consequences to the point of being "suspended, even expelled."

The suspension of Kappa Tau's social calendar leads Cappie to decide to throw a major party the weekend before the ban begins. Rusty suggests the end of the world to be the theme, as inspired by his art history class, and Cappie accepts it.

Dale is trying to deal with Sheila's advances, and talks about his purity pledge brothers not being there (because they're on a gay vacation, but he's too oblivious to notice, even if Calvin does). Dale decides to add Calvin to the Purity Pledge brothers, in order to make a pact about not having sex with their "temptors."

Casey falls into a manhole while walking with Ashleigh, which makes her have some serious revelations about death and seizing the moment. This leads to her later actions involving Cappie and confessing to him.

Rusty gets a D on his organic chemistry test, which means he has to go to his advisor and ask for extra credit opportunities so he doesn't flunk out of honors engineering. While he's reluctant at first, Rusty is eventually allowed to do a lab to bring his grade slightly up. However, on the night of the end of the world party, he breaks out of the building and goes to see Jordan, not thinking about the consequences. The effect of the idea of the end of the world seems to have everybody stirred up.

Casey decides that she'd rather be with Cappie if it was the end of the world. She leads him into a closet and attempts to confess that she wants to be with him, only for Cappie to (kinda) decline. When they walk out, Max is there, and Cappie covers for Casey. Casey eventually breaks up with Max though, which goes through the grapevine to Cappie again, who thinks about it on the roof.

Frannie decides to stand for Ashleigh and call off the reports and accusations, as an act of...kindness? Ashleigh is off the hook, and Frannie also decides to disband the Iota Kappas once and for all. Turns out their pledge class wasn't the most upstanding group of people.

The episode ends with everyone at the KT party counting down to midnight, or "the end of the world."
